This product is hosted on a workstation at your facility. It integrates your on-premises client-server ERP system with a robust ecommerce platform, BigCommerce. BigCommerce provides the means for you to have a manageable monthly cost for the software that runs your online store. This hosted ecommerce software includes strong security; however, it does have restrictions since we do not have access to the source code. All queries go through the BigCommerce APIs rather than straight against a database.
We primarily pair BigCommerce with one of Epicor's ERP systems such as the Epicor Eagle system for retail stores [https://www.epicor.com/en-us/products/retail-management-systems-rms/eagle/] or Prophet 21 [P21] for distributors [https://www.epicor.com/en-us/products/enterprise-resource-planning-erp/prophet-21/]. Requirements- A subscription to a BigCommerce store: Plus, Pro or Enterprise
- A Shipper Add-On if you ship physical goods
- A Payment gateway configured in the BigCommerce store
- A workstation on the client-server network; this workstation needs to have the client software installed and be configured so that it can use an ODBC connection to the system database, as well as configuration to use the third-party order input [for example, ESTU for Eagle]
The basic price is for an existing website. If you would like Active Lightning to create a custom website, you will need to add-on a project for a custom website.
If you want custom configuration that is not part of standard ActiveTransfer-ADNS, you will need to buy hours to accomplish this. If the cost goes beyond the package that you purchase, we will invoice you.
