Stages for Creating an Online Store

• Discovery: we have a kickoff meeting to learn more about the owner's strategic vision for the company and make sure that we understand the appropriate aspects of your market and competition. The meeting also provides a forum for learning about the features you want your store to have.
• Wireframes: this is the blueprint for the home page and general template. It is geared towards functionality that the design needs to include.
• Design: after the wireframes are approved, then the Graphic Design Specialist works with Sally Seaver to create our proposed design for your site
• Implementation:
  • Design is implemented in the BigCommerce Cornerstone Theme
  • Active Lightning implements Active Hub in this design and configures it according to the Configuration doc
  • Active Lightning does first upload of any customers and product data
  • Staff from your company will start reviewing and testing
  • If your company orders bulk upload of historic data, that happens next.
  • Pre-Go-Live: Staff from your company needs to configure the BigCommerce store for shipping, set up desired payment methods, and make sure static information for topics are in place, etc – topics like About Us, Policies, other
• Acceptance Testing:
  • The burden of testing is on your company. A punch list of matters to address is developed during testing.
  • Then Active Lightning Team then does these fixes.
• Plan Rollout:
  • We work with you to plan how you will roll out the site to your customers.
• Go Live:
  • The plan is executed and your customers start using the website
